Who needs MI?

Target group of MI are the users, who encounter problems with editing and authoring of MPEG videos and DVD and do not know what and why somewhat not succeeds in a way they wish it.

In addition, target group are those, who would have a deeper look into the things and would like to inform themselves over the internals and background.

Target group are however all those who are looking for help in the many forums, which concern themselves with the topic video editing. How often one despairs almost of a certain problem, but cannot describe it clearly enough to the good-willing helpers. Video files are not suitable for exchanging them by email, even not in the age of DSL. The files are simply too large.

With it's export functions, MI can extract material which is selected punctually or on certain aspects for exchanging it with people e.g. in forums.

An excerpt from a text report of the general video data posted in a forum or a Snippet from a problematic piece of the video made available for download or sent by email, is simply more descriptive and accurate than a general statements how: " it worked always so far and I don't understand, why it don't work now!"

MI opens the view to the characteristics of MPEG files for the ambitious video editor, permits a view into the "soul" of a video. He can draw conclusions from constellations which are causing problems and thus he can do somewhat against it.

MI is an analysing tool for viewing into MPEG files and preparing their contents under different aspects for representation. MI doesn’t change or correct anything in the source files.
